Event Update: Visual Novel Overload (VNO)

 

Hey everyone! Just wanted to drop an update for the upcoming event I'm having. So I have decided on which games I will going through, and there are soooo many of them that to be honest I don't think two days will be enough but its a struggle I'm willing to try and do. It's my burden to bare and you can watch it all. Event: Visual Novel Overload (VNO)

October 22 - 23 (Saturday and Sunday)

With my current library of over 200+ Visual Novels and its continued growth almost weekly (yeah I have a bad addiction), I have decided its time for a weekend of self indulgence...so its time for an overload of the Visual Novel variety!

So load up on Energy Drinks, Mountain Dew, 2-Liters and the kind of snacks your parents warned you about...or that you warn your kids about...whatever works and lets get ready for a weekend of adult fun, adult humor, and some smexy time.

Depending on the VN will depend on several things, such as full play time, how many paths there are for us to discover and if they are interactive we may have to play some mini games to get a little bit into it. But hell that is part of the fun!

I will be working out a list of games and will post it soon, I plan on streaming as much as possible and I will also be recording it to post on my Odysee account. I hope to see you there with bells on...or not doesn't matter to me, but bells could make it more fun!

Steam Scream Fest 2022

Registration Details

Please read the Steam Scream Fest documentation for complete details on eligibility criteria and the registration process for this event, both for games and in-game events.

There are two ways to participate:

Spooky Games

Eligible spooky games will be sent an email invitation to register and participate as an included game. If you have not received an invitation and believe your game fits the criteria described in the documentation, please check your list of eligible games. If your game is not present and you believe it meets the listed criteria, please contact us here.

Spooky In-game Events

Any game with a spooky in-game event can participate in Steam Scream Fest by selecting "Halloween Event" when creating a new event or announcement in the Steam Events system. There will be an additional review process to confirm the in-game event meets the Halloween Event / Steam Scream Fest eligibility criteria. More information on creating a Halloween Event is available in the Event Type: Halloween documentation.

The Steam Scream Fest event page will have a dedicated section to highlight games with spooky in-game events.

Important Note About Discounts

A discount is not required to participate in Steam Scream Fest, though the event page will most prominently feature discounted games.

All discounts scheduled to start on or after March 28th are subject to the same 28-day cooldown between discounts. The only exceptions from March 28th onward are the four major Steam seasonal sales. For more details on the discounting rule changes, please see the Discount Rule Changes documentation.
