Estella's Nightmare: Sealed Space and a Succubus's Curse

 

Estella's Nightmare: Sealed Space and a Succubus's Curse is a short side scrolling fighting game that is very much adult oriented and isn't hard to play through. The game was released August 9th 2022 and was developed by a company that apparently to the store page has no English translation and produced by PlayMeow Games. The reviews for this game are numerous and its listed as 'mostly positive'. 

The story intro is short and the story seems pretty straight forward and is also short in length. Fighting wise the game is very basic with you spending your time learning at what pace to deploy your defense magic to block attacks while also waiting for your action gauge to fill so you can use your attacks.

You play as a cat-eared (Neko) girl by the name of Estella, you decided to help your father by going to gather herbs to help him heal up and cure his illness. In the process of this you run into a crystal that then transports you to a sealed space where a Succubus sits on a throne. She explains you have been transported to a sealed realm and you have a chance to get out if you can find all the portal cores in different area's and bring them back.

The Succubus also provides you with a weapon and a magical seal that allows you to harness 'erotic power' that you can then use to upgrade your stats. There are only three stats you can upgrade and you can literally max them out in the first level if you wanted to.

 To gain 'erotic power' you simply need to let your health drop to almost nothing, then your attacker will try to...take advantage of Estella, and have its way with her. You can quickly tap a button and (depends on if your keyboard or controller) and break the "ritual". Doing this 3 times in a row will allow you to gain 1 point. 

There are only three stats you can update, your attack power, increased action speed, and amount of action points and you can level each of these 3 times. So in total you will need 9 points. Once you have those nine points and you upgrade your stats your pretty much left with your own ability to block attacks and counter attack, you also have a small selection of magic you can use but honestly all I ever used was the heal spell. 

You can also choose not to hit the button and allow the enemy to have their way with Estella, this will trigger an ending H-scene and depending on what level your on and what enemy you are fighting will depend on the ending you get. Even if you let Estella get taken you can simply start back where the Succubus is with no penalty. 

The game is currently on sale for $7.99 which isn't bad though its normal retail is $9.99. I guess its up to you if you want to pay full price for it, I can see where the budget went mostly to the H-scenes as they are hi-res and animated and the voice over matches things to a 'T' . 

If you are looking for a quick, easy, fun, erotic, game that has a little rpg playing elements to it then this would be a good buy. 

Siscon Sister of the Week

 

This weeks Siscon Sister of the Week is Elise Schwarzer from the hit game 'Legend of Hero's : Trails of Cold Steel', a game developed by Nihon Falcom and published by XSEED Games, Marvelous USA Inc. The game has 4 titles in this particular series usually referred to simply as the 'Trails of Cold Steel Saga'. 

The game is a classic RPG style game with great graphics, very in depth storyline, and nice character interactions. You play as Rean Schwarzer the adopted son of an Erebonian noble Baron Tio Schwarzer. You decide to go to the prestigious Military Academy Thor's to get your last couple of years of education in an attempt to decide on what you wish to do in the future. It is here fate puts you as the fore fronted figurehead due to change not just the nation but the world itself. 

Elise Schwarzer is the blood born child of Baron Tio and as such technically she would be next in line to obtain the Baron title. Elize and Rean have been raised just as a real brother and sister and Rean tends to be a bit protective of her. Elise attends the all girl School Astria located in the capital city of the Erebonian Empire. As such she has become great friends with the daughter of the Emperor. 

Elise is timid by nature and very soft spoken. She can be a bit crass when it comes to Rean, and despite the fact that they have been raised as siblings she has a deep felt love and passion towards Rean that only he friend Princess Alfin knows about, though the other girls around Rean have picked up on it as well. Rean in his own right is clueless to the feelings of his female classmates and Elise as well.

Elise from time to time will relay on her older brother Rean to help her along, but other times she's the inspiration for Rean to push forward with his own life. Elise is also adapt with a sword and while not a main character in the party all the time she does join the party on occasion to provide some support. 

I highly recommend this game if you enjoy classic style RPG's with a bit modern graphics. I won't deny that at first I was a bit hesitant about getting it or the others...but I got hooked not long after starting it, and with over 200+ hours in the game now getting different endings and love interests in the first game and porting them to the second game...it is a full time job at this point and at least its one I can support.

Evenicle 2 (Demo)

Evenicle 2 much like Evenicle is a combination of a Visual Novel and RPG from Japan. Currently, the English version of this game is only in 'Demo' mode and allows you to play through the first complete Chapter of the game. Currently, there is no release date for the full version of the game on Steam in English.

So this review is actually more of a preview as the complete game is not out in the US. Please note I will most likely make a new 'Review' for this game when it is completely released and give my first thoughts and of course after playing through the game a bit I will give a better review of it much like I did on Evenicle. 

Evenicle II takes place in a parallel dimension or universe if you will from the first game. There are new characters, mains, and all new nations, and concepts. However, there are several things that you will remember from the first game including the mention of Eve and certain rules and regulations that Eve mandated for humanity. That said there is several things that are new that only appear in this world. The most prevalent and somewhat most annoying of these new things is the 'Hero Syndrome' system that will force you to go around and collect certain items to use in eliminating the problem from one of your wives.

Currently based on the lore of the game, in Evenicle II, not everyone can use magic or skills. The ones that can are granted special rights and privileges that others may not have. However, using one's skills and magic can lead to that person getting the 'Hero's Syndrome'. This disease causes the hero's immune system to suddenly take ill with a variety of different illnesses that range from minor to life-threatening. Because of that, the number of Hero's has greatly been reduced and the ages of these heroes have also gone down as many no longer live long lives due to the Syndrome. 

Alex is the main character, (the one you will play) and has a unique talent and ability. Alex is a student of medicine and he's taught by his Grand Father in the many different skills of running a clinic, hospital and preforming different medical services. However, his special talent is the ability to use skills and magic without suffering the effects of Hero's Syndrome. He also has a skill that he can use called "Medica" which has a variety of different purposes. 

Medica is a long since believed skill that never existed except for one former medical professional that was seen as a lech and had his reputation tarnished because 'Medica' he said could only be used on women.  Alex learns the basics of Medica and that he has the power to use it early but hides it from the village he lives in.

Alex's history is lightly touched on in the demo including the fact that he was married young but that he doesn't really know who his wife is. (Note: You will find out in the first chapter who it is.) Through word of mouth and speaking with his Grand Father he finds out that there is a sick hero coming to their hospice to stay until she passes. Being a young man in a town of old people, finding out that a young maiden is heading to his town 'excites' him and leads him to seek her out before she comes to town.

In the process, he meets the young heroine Yuragi.

Yuragi is a decedent of a veteran Hero who fell to his illness years back. She is a graduate of the 'Academy' to which those with special skills and magic normally attend to train their minds, bodies, and special traits to be used in combat against monsters and bandits.

After using her skills multiple times she finally became sick from the Hero Syndrome and after coming down with a serious illness she was forced to retire and decided to spend her last few months in the village that her mother was born in. 

While she was making her way to the town with a fellow hero, some things happened and she and her companion were found by Alex, who within moments of meeting her told her point-blank, "Let's have sex." Of course, this went over like a lead balloon. However, he would later explain to her that he had the special skill 'Medica' and through his research, he would be able to cure her disease and keep her from relapsing from that disease if they had sex.

After performing a few other uses of Medica to find out what it was she had and then to figure out what he needed to cure her they sat out to find the ingredient to synthesis a cure. 

They were able to find the item he needed, and after ingesting it his body through the use of Medica was able to form the cure to her current illness. After some thought and words back and forth, Yugari agreed and the two officially became a couple. 

As it was with Aster in Evenicle, once they had sex they were bound to one another as husband and wife per the law sat fourth by Mother Eve. Even though technically Yugari wasn't his first wife because of him having magic and skills he was able to take more than one wife. Where in Evenicle it was based on one's rank, in Evenicle II it is based on if one is a hero or not. 

Graphically this game is very similar to Evenicle, however, the fighting has changed from the more 'FPS' point of view to the side-3rd person kind of view which I do enjoy as it gives a new perspective and adds more to the actions the characters take when preforming skills and magic.

Currently, while it is a demo I can say I only saw a couple of things that were kind of annoying. The first being how quick it was to get monsters to fight. It felt like you couldn't move too far before you were forced to fight. I guess for leveling purposes that isn't a bad thing, but when you trying to get from point A to point B for story and plot...it can get old fast. 

Another that was a bit rough was the fact that you were HIGHLY limited in the use of heal skills. Even in Evenicle, you could use your heal skills one time per battle as long as you had the BP to use them. If you had more than one heal skill you could use each one once in battle. in Evenicle II the heal skills you have can only be used as long as you have MP to use it. When you start out you have 2 to 3 MP. However when you run out you are out until you get to an Inn. If you are traveling long distances and you use up your MP to heal you or your party members...you may be looking for a town close by to rest just to save up MP.

The Syndrome is a unique thing that is both interesting and new to something that is a bit annoying at times. As you fight your Hero Syndrome Meter will fill up and then when it maxes it will force an illness upon one of the party members, and then you are forced to find the item needed to create your cure for that illness. 

The soundtrack is decent and the character voices are nice...though I wish they could do it in English too but I digress. 

The Demo is free and if I was you I'd pick it up and give it a playthrough. I can't wait to see what is in store for Evenicle II and hope the game is out soon.

I think this is my first Updated Review, so congrats to me for finally doing a follow-up review of a game that I initially made a simple review of based on about 2 hours of gameplay. The few hours I played left me with a good impression of the game overall and sadly due to Real Life things and other reviews needing to be done I had to wait longer to actually get into the meat of the game.

Well after around 70 hours played...I still have not made it to the end but I am close. So I decided that the first review that I have done in a LONG while, I would do an Updated Review on the game called Evenicle.

Evenicle is a mix of a classic-style RPG with a Visual Novel. It offers the best of both worlds allowing you to travel freely and fight monsters and bad guys to gain money and experience all along going along a pretty well thought out storyline. 

I enjoy the graphics even if they are considered dated, I think they really complement this game well and would actually enjoy seeing more games like this one as far as how the graphics are done both with regards to the RPG and the Visual Novel aspects. The music is well done but I think more tracks could be added that would make it sound more interesting. Honestly recently I have turned the BG music off and listen to my music while playing, especially when grinding levels.

In the RPG fashion, this game does have some moments where you will most likely want to take some time out and level up and grind EXP. I know some people find this to be a bit annoying and while I normally agree, I find that this is actually not as bad as you may think. You actually gain EXP pretty well, there are items and skills you can obtain that help increase the amount of EXP you can gain per battle as well.

Wife Kathryn

You can enter towns to rest at Inn's restoring your HP, visit the Church for some cutscenes, and maybe a quest. Visit the Store to buy items and weapons and armors as you need, and in some towns, a special shop is sat up where you can sell items and treasures to earn money. You will also find the EXP shop where you can turn your EXP in and gain a level...that's right you don't do it automatically.

The story revolves around your main character 'Aster' as he prefers to be called who decides to become a Knight in order to marry both of his sisters. Before you get the wrong idea, they are not really his sisters. They helped raise him in a way so he just calls them his sisters. In the realm of Evenicle you can have only one wife unless you become a Knight and earn higher ranks then it increases the number of wives you can have. 

Upon getting to the mainland you begin your journey to becoming a Knight for the nation of Eden. During your trials and tribulations, you run into a 'Lone Knight' Ramius and a Mage named Richie. Later both of these women will become your wives as you are established as a Knight. 

As the story progresses you will rank up by completing the several chapters of the game. The ultimate goal is to reach the title, 'Zero Knight' which is the most powerful knight in the Kingdom. There is also a special rank that is bestowed only by the Church referred to as, 'Holy Knight'. 

Wife Towa

Now I won't give too much away of the story but let's just say as you journey will meet many different women and several of them will become your wives. There are a couple of wives that will not be in your party to fight, but instead, they do other things like take care of the family home and so on. 

I am pretty sure I went over the majority of that in my last review, but now that you are currently on the basics of the game, we will talk about those things that I didn't talk a lot about in the first review.

As I may have also stated in my last review, there are some instances that may cause some people to get a wee bit squeamish. The majority of that revolving around the concept of 'rape'. Now I do not advocate rape obviously but as a form of context, especially in 'dark fantasy' games and novels, I just accept it as part of the genera. 

In my first review, I discussed slightly the one instance that I saw that dealt with the concept of rape. At that time I thought that would be the only instance of such...I was wrong. I can remember around 5 or more of such instances where the discussion of, the act of, or the insinuation of the act of rape occurred.  

Now there is an option to turn that off in the Settings at the start of the game so my advice is that if you are not comfortable with the aspect of using such actions in media such as games like this, I would recommend turning it off. 

Wife Gurigura

I also want to go on record as to say that after many hours in the game that you will be subject to several other things you may or may not be able to agree with. Multiple wives, lesbianism, many instances of sexual deviant acts, MANY SEX SCENES, and crude humor. This game is NOT for children and I would advise not to play it in the presence of a child UNLESS you are simply running around the field and fighting to level up. 

If you however keep an open mind and enjoy RPG's with some Visual Novel aspects...or maybe a Visual Novel with RPG aspects, I would highly recommend this game still. The key is to keep an open mind though.

That said I would like to point out the picture of 'wife Gurigura' I know what you are thinking...and I alas can only say, keep an open mind my friends...keep an open mind.

Preview of Corpse Party

Corpse Party was originally created in Japan in the early '90s and gained a quick cult following in the gaming community. Created by an Indy Developer using simple RPG Maker technology the game was designed over a period of time. The game was then expanded on several years later and the cult following moved past just the nation of Japan to Europe and America. Described as a psychological horror game, the game centered around a group of High School students that are sent to another dimension due to a charm they all participate in. The dimension they enter isn't one of rainbows and unicorns but instead, it is filled with spirits both good and bad and filled with the dead bodies of those that came before them. 

The game is broken down into chapters with each chapter having multiple endings based on the choices you make and if you take time to go through certain situations or skip them. Along with these endings are also the fact you may in fact lose a character along the way. Each chapter focuses on one or more characters and has different scenarios that can play out based on who is alive, who is dead, and previous actions you performed. 

As stated, this is a psychological horror game is based on the basic understandings of fear that most people have including the use of spirits that will use just about trick to get the characters to act a certain way. There is a great deal of blood, gore, murder, evil spirits, and, dead bodies among other things that lend to the creepiness of this game. It has even been posted by several that have done reviews on this game previously they do not recommend playing this game alone, at night, or in the dark.

Corpse Party being a classic game does have the drawback that its artwork and graphics are a bit outdated. But despite that, the game itself is said to be fun and exciting and has a great story to go along with it. Based on what I have seen and read of this game I do recommend some caution if you do decide to watch my review and play video. It is something that can really warp your mind...which for me there isn't much left to warp.

There are few games that give you that feeling of 'why am I still playing this?' but if there was a game that did give you that feeling this would be one of those games. This game has the hallmark of all those things that your parents warned you about...well at least several of them. This is a niche game...if you are not into some weird adult games then you will not find this game something you will enjoy. However, if you are like me and you find yourself playing just almost anything adult-related and somehow liking it, then this game will hit that nitch just the way you like it.  

Hazumi and the Pregnation is a game about a sweet character named Hazumi (who would of thought that right?) that is in college and in need of some cash. She has just got her own place and other than a ratty futon, her cell phone and some food she has nothing to her name. While in class she speaks to a friend of hers that convinces her to go with her to eat some food. When they pay Hazumi realizes she's really strapped on cash and is hard press to find a job quickly. Her friend explains how she can download an app and make money hand over fist if she's willing to become a prostitute. And like that she does so.

Now, let us all remember that Prostitution is the longest-running profession in the known world. Despite how the Government may control it or forbid it, a part of humanity and its nature falls well within the realm people selling their bodies for cash. So begins the real part of the game. With your handy cell phone and an app you can set up to have sex with men for cash so long as you please them and meet their requirements.

So the friend mentions getting pregnant and how due to new laws that Prostitution is legal and how if you get pregnant you can have the Government pay you to take the child. There are even male 'supporters' that enjoy having sexual intercourse with pregnant women. 

As you pick up your first 'john' (usually named Buddy or Guy for some reason) you enter a menu that lets you make some choices as to what you do to him sexually. During this a small bar will let you know how much the 'john' enjoys what your doing and how stimulated he is as well as how much you 'Hazumi' enjoys and so on. The idea is to please the 'john' as much as possible in a set amount of time while doing the things that his profile says he enjoys. This can include, tits, suckin, and doing the deed. There are times where Hazumi can become pregnant, times she's on her period, and so on.

You can also upgrade your apartment by buying items and furniture. As you complete your...night of fun and enjoyment, you will gain 'Charm Points' that help you complete your goals with your 'johns' and you can use items you buy to increase your looks, personality, and charm as well. You can also buy furniture, but remember to keep money on hand to pay rent for your place. 

I have not fully completed this game if such a thing is possible, but at the time of writing this review I have played only roughly around 2 hours or so and I catch myself laughing at the fact I am playing this game just to be honest because it is one of those games that as I stated just really makes you wonder what rabbit hole you have managed to go down when you decided to buy it off the market place. I at this time believe this game is going for around $20 on Steam. I think it is going for this due to the amount of time you can sink into this game.

In conclusion, I do enjoy this game and will continue to push on and see how far I can get in it. I am considering even doing a video on it but I will have to censor a lot of it as the game does have a lot of nudity and adults having intercourse though it is mostly just pictures and words as the animation wasn't a high priority on this game.

Extended Review

I actually came across Goblin Walker while cruising the list of games that were on sale. I ended up picking this game up for around $1 on Steam and it was a Steam Edit Version so pretty much all the adult content had been stripped for the most part to contend with the current Steam ToS. That said within the Community Page and Shop Page there was a link to a source site that allowed you to download the Patch you would need to bring this game back to all its glory...and I use that term loosely. 

So this game is a throwback to classic sidescrolling action that has RPG elements and a pretty straight forward objective for the main character which I would go as far as saying is about as "anti-hero" as you could get when it comes to playing these sorts of games. But I guess it is in that concept that makes this game unique in itself. 

The game starts with you being a simple half demi-human that is chased to the edge of a cliff where you fall to your uncertain doom. Being found by other demi-humans they take you to their leader who is for all purposes is a Warlock or Wizard of sorts that brings you back to life as a Goblin. Your goal is to bring young women to the cave to be used in a sacrifice to bring back a Goblin Lord. And that is where the fun begins.

You are given a short tutorial about how only certain women possess a certain type of mana held within their bodies that the Wizard needs to perform the ritual to bring back this Goblin Lord. So you are trained on how to seek out and disable these special women...that you then have to bang which breaks their will. Once their will is broken you then have to pick them up and take them back to the Goblin Cave. While you are doing this there are people and Knights attempting to stop you and kill you and you earn coin, food, and points that you then use to help increase your armor, weapons, and power to increase your ability to get the job done.

Now I have not put a lot of hours into this game but thus far it is a fairly basic and straightforward game that has a unique idea behind it. I have seen recently they have added a few updates to the game to add some new characters to the game as well, so it is safe to say that this game is still being developed at a slow pace. The game cost is minimal at best and isn't for everyone but for a couple of dollars it is a good time killer.

I would recommend this if you enjoy being a Goblin doing what Goblins do (based on Goblin Slayer mentality) and it makes for a game that is most certainly in need of the 18+ tag.

To some this game is simple, and it is in that simplicity that makes it fun. It is a traditional RPG style game with some added depth and some comedy along with the Adult concepts and themes added along with it. Don't get me wrong I have come across a scene (at least one at the moment) that could cause some...uneasiness despite the fact the game has a "Friendly" appeal to it. I enjoy the gameplay, story, and even the adult pictures...it is what it is...don't judge me. I would recommend this to anyone 18 or older that enjoys RPGs.

Expanded Review

Evenicle is a unique RPG Visual Novel that plays a lot like a classic RPG game from the early '90s with the almost 1st person perspective when fighting and the classic RPG open-world look and feel. The Visual Novel aspect is done for the cutscenes which include a few choices but not too many, at least not that I have encountered anyways. That said the game has a very unique premise and interesting story along with some interesting characters. Because of the number of characters that you can have in your party at any given time, I will not be focusing on any particular NPC and instead just focus on the gameplay, story, and feel of the game.

 Now before we get into the heart of the subject there are a few things we need to go over. First, this is an Adult game so there are sex scenes, the showing of nudity, adult situations, adult language, and so on. This game is regarded as a "dark fantasy" despite the bright colors and nice dialogue. That said at the time I am writing this I have only found really one scene in the game that I would call 'dark' and normally I wouldn't give spoilers to the story or gameplay but in this instance, I think it is needed for those out there that can not handle the subject matter.

In this game, the history is very unique in the fact that the Deity of the game is a Divine Goddess that in her wisdom declared only a few rules for the people to live by. Unlike the concept of our world where Gods and Goddess do not take direct action to enforce their rules in the world of Evenicle that is different. The Goddess takes direct action when someone breaks one of her rules. 

One of these rules is the keeping of purity of both men and women until they are married. When a couple is married and makes a bond with one another the Goddess places a ring upon their fingers as a symbol of their unity. However, should someone have sex outside of wedlock OR commit the crime of murder then that person is 'branded' with a black ring that is unable to be removed. That marks them as an exile, they are removed from society and unable to live in any town or city. They are unable to mine for their metals will turn to copper, they can not plant food for their crops will die, in other words, they are subjected to a form of death as they will soon perish as no person would offer them help. Many of these people that are black banded form Bandit groups and get their supplies from stealing, killing, and pillaging.

To that end, bandits tend to also seek out...companions that they can use, abuse, and trade or kill off when they are done with them. In one part of the game, a female townsperson is captured by a group of Bandits and taken to their camp. The protagonist and a Knight are tasked with killing the bandits and saving the girl if at all possible. Upon reaching the camp however the girl has been taken advantage of. (I'm attempting to be nice here.) Once the deed is done a black band is bestowed upon her as she had sex prior to marriage. The bandits, of course, get theirs but not before it is too late. Because of this the girl is taken by the nation's Soldiers and taken to a place that the Kingdom takes all-black bands to. No one knows what happens there but many have their suspicion. 

Now that you have been warned...time to move to the heart of the game.

You play as a young male hero that has lived alone on a small fishing island for his entire life. During that time the town's elder and his daughters have taken care of you and you have grown up with the twin girls as you are both about the same age. One day the twins ask you a question that you are completely taken back by. They ask you which one you want to marry? Of course, you're conflicted as they are both seeking your affection and they want to marry you. But you can not make the choice, so you make a daring proposal. You declare you will head to the mainland, become a high ranking Knight, and marry both of them. They agree to your terms. 

In this land there are different levels of Knights, they are called, Knight, Hundred Knight, Thousand Knight, and Zero Knight. A Knight is able to marry at most two people and is regarded as the basic class of knighthood. Hundred Knights are able to marry around 3 to 4 and is called 'Hundred Knight' because that Knight is at a level where their power is equal to 100 regular knights. The Thousand Knight follows the same concept adding 1 to 2 more marriages allowed and is compared to 1000 regular knights. Then there is the Zero Knight the highest rank a Knight can get. There is only 3 in the entire kingdom and their power is beyond measure. 

You go to the mainland and your journey begins as you start your rise through the ranks and finding different lady companions that you decide to take as your wives all with the goal of one day returning to the small fishing island and marrying the twins. 

The map is pretty expansive, the gameplay pretty basic but that isn't a bad thing. There is much in the way of grinding, leveling, upgrading, and obtaining new armor and weapons that will help you through the game. Like most RPG's it has many quests and side quests you can do and like most adult games there are chances to have romantic events happen between yourself and your wives as you obtain them. 

While the concepts of this game are not new they are not something many games touch a lot on at least, not for the time the game came out. However, as I have observed there are more and more games and even anime and manga that is looking greatly into the discussion of the concept of Polyamorous and Poly relationships and marriages. 

This game is fun, nicely done, long in duration, and plays more like a classic RPG than a VN. I have at the time of writing this article have not actually beat this game, but I do plan on playing it more in the time to come. 

With the exception of the one scene which I do believe can be skipped this game is light, funny, nice, and easy to get into. I highly recommend it to anyone out there looking for a unique 18+ RPG Adult game.

I give this game pretty high marks. It reminds me of the classic dating sims great visual novel style, and of course, the humor involved in it is grade A. Just so you know...the Mod makes the game even better in the long run. There is a part of me that would love to see another game like this or maybe even some addons that could make the game go even further. I know that is pushing it but I mean when you have something this good it is hard to walk away from it.

Love Esquire is a Visual Novel with some RPG elements. While the RPG element is light it is actually something that you will want to do to progress through the game and get one of the better endings. The RPG aspect to me honestly lent itself greatly to this game and made this game even better than it already was with its witty humor, nice music scores, great artwork, and of course the number of endings based on different girls. 

You play as a Squire to a Knight in a kingdom that is preparing to go to war against the dreaded Barbarians. To that end as a Squire, you aspire to become a knight yourself but in the middle ages the only way for a Squire to become a Knight was to serve under one and through hard work, dedication, and merit through the war they a Squire could become a Knight. 

The squire (you) can change your name so you can make up whatever name you wish. The characters react to your character by calling him simply 'Squire' so that is actually not a bad thing. You live on a farm with your sister 'Amy' and your Father. I want to go on record by letting you know up front that they are not your biological father or sister but are simply the ones that took you in after your parents were killed by raiders...there is a reason why this is important.

So the game gives you 3 to 4 months (around 30 turns in each month) to do a wide variety of things from talk with different characters and get a relationship with different woman, train at the barracks, become charismatic at the local tavern, and study at the town Library. You can also go out in the field with Sir Hugh (your knight) and do missions to earn gold and experience that will help you progress through the series of quests and at the end of the questline (the fighting in the field area) you get a special item.

As a Squire you do not actually fight against the bests and bandits you help your knight and he does the fighting. As a Squire you can 'Taunt' your enemies which as you would expect would make them attack you instead of your knight, 'Loot' which again...as it states you will loot the gold your enemies drop after they are dead. Now please take a note that you HAVE to loot the gold if you want to keep it. Any gold let at the end of the battle that you did not pick up will not go into your bank. 'Heal' which will heal your Knight (Hugh) as well as yourself. 'Cheer' helps Hugh power up his attacks with one turn and in the following turn, his attack will deal more damage. As you do each of these skills you will earn points that when reaching max will unlock ultimates of each skill which increases their effectiveness and has a really neat and cool cutscene for them.

This game has a lot of humor and jokes and makes a lot of references to modern gaming concepts and ideas which makes this game even funnier. The humor in this game is one of its big selling points...well that and the sex and hot women...just to name a few things.

Speak of woman there are 5 different women that you can court so to speak and each one has their own personality traits, history, and ideas for the squire. 

The women that you can have relations with is Amy the not by blood-related sister (that's right no chromo), Giselle the nurse at the local clinic, Beatrice the Princess of the Kingdom, Kamala the Diplomat and daughter of the Sultan of the neighboring Kingdom, and Vel that lives a dual life as a warrior in the army of the Kingdom and a bar fighter that does odd jobs for different people. 

Because of the amount of information that there is on each girl, it would be extremely difficult to post it all in this article but let's just say this. Each girl is more certainly hot, interesting, and each has their own personality traits that will draw you or repel you from them. All that said though there are multiple endings that you can unlock so seeking a playthrough where you go after each one is advisable. I have played through this game multiple times and I still have yet to obtain every ending to this game at the time of this article. Not to say that further playthroughs will not eventually lead me to unlock them all. 

Love Esquire is a game that has a lot more potential and really develops a new concept in the Visual Novel industry in my opinion. I think this game could be developed further and even a new game created based on the lore and ideas leftover from this game. I would even go as far as suggesting that if there was to be, say a Love Esquire 2 in the works or in development that makes it where you import your last save game and maybe continue with the girl you have or maybe even seek out new girls?

The music tracks, cut scenes, and voice-overs also make this game even better crafted and to be honest this is one game that I recommend highly to get. I don't believe you will be upset with this purchase at all.
